Let, breadth x cm & length 2x cm
 $∴$  Area  =   $2 x^{2}$ 
length decreased by 5 cm
 $2 x^{2}$  length  =  2x  -  5
breadth increased by 5 cm
 $2 x^{2}$  breadth  =  x   +   5
Area increased by 75  $c m^{2}$ 
 $∴ (x + 5) (2 x - 5) - 2 x^{2} = 75$ 
 $\Rightarrow 2 x^{2} - 5 x + 10 x - 25 - 2 x^{2} = 75$ 
 $\Rightarrow$  5x  -  25  =  75
 $\Rightarrow$  5x  =  1000
 $∴$  x  =  20
breadth  =  20 cm
length  =   $20 \times 2$  cm  =  40 cm.
